Flying Chillies

Today, I have spent RM48.00 (exclude tax and service charge) for 2 persons' food & beverage at Flying Chillies, a thai food restaurant located in The Gardens Shopping Complex, Mid Valley City. We planned to have our lunch at Taiwan restaurant but unfortunately that restaurant was crowded. So, we decided change dining place.

We walked for another few metres away from the Taiwan Restaurant and suddenly noticed the signage "Flying Chillies, Simply Thailicious". Chillies also can fly???

Without second thougth, we walked in and started to explore their F&B menu. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a white interior and neon bar and heard "Sa Wa Ti Kap" by waitress. We sit down and immediate ordered "Bangkok Favourite Noodle in Spicy Food Soup w Seafood", "Stewed Beef Noodle", "Watermelon Fresh Juice" and "Red Ruby Water Chestnuts in Coconut Milk".

The taste of food and dessert we ordered, really can satisfy us and quite nice. Bangkok Favourite Noodle bit spicy but I still manage to finish it. It comes with remark "1 chillie" in the menu. 1 Chillie already quite hot, if go for the food marked with "2 chillies", then will become dinasour with fire on the mouth :P

In term of food taste and environment, it worth for money. Anyway, I manage to get additional 10% discount since they are running promotion with credit card companies. Card holder of CIMB or Direct Access, HSBC will enjoy the discount include their owm member (holding that member card) and California Card.

You should try it when you don't have any dining idea in The Gardens.

Restaurant Mee Papan 巨木板面

I tried Dry Pan Mee and Loh "卤" Pan Mee at Restaurant Mee Papan. Besides, I chose licorice herbal drink "甘草 参须凉茶" and red bean soup as dessert. The given topping for the mee is a lot which believe it can help to satisfy the customer. The Dry Pan Mee is recommended since its taste is good and better that Loh Pan Mee. Actually, Pan Mee is not so suitable to match with Loh soup until the Loh Pan Mee nothing special. Anyway, the price quite reasonable and only cost RM15 for 2 persons.
